Attorney at law Emilia Toncheva is an external consultant to PPG Lawyers with respect to litigation cases, as well as other specific administrative legal and regulatory issues.

Emilia graduated from the University of National and World Economy (Master of Law, 1998) and has more than twenty years of law practice. She is a member of the Sofia Bar Association and is the managing partner of “Avakyan, Toncheva and Buneva” Law Firm.

She is a specialist in civil and commercial law, and consults and legally represents many entities as well as natural persons.

In the last ten years she has been working successfully in the field of administrative law, specialising in regulations related to European programs, such as LIFE, OP „Environment“, the Rural Development Program etc.

She enhances and develops her professional qualification by participating in numerous seminars and specialised conferences.

Emilia has extensive experience in environmental law and has assisted in the development of legislation on biodiversity conservation. Her deep interest in nature conservation activities prompts her to pursue a master’s degree in ecology, which is a unique combination of legal knowledge and professional understanding of environmental issues.
